Retail specialists Save The High Street provide strategies tailored for independent traders to help them thrive. The free scheme provides support in the form of action plans, step-by-step guides and one-to-one support from expert advisors. Support is personalised for businesses across a number of different themes, such as increasing footfall, growing online, collaborating locally and making the most of seasonal opportunities.

Federation of Small Businesses
Under the Three Rivers Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) scheme, eligible small and medium-sized business businesses can receive fully funded memberships, awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.
Businesses that join the FSB can access a range of benefits, including a funding platform, medical care helpline, employment advice and protection, debt recovery and a legal hub for advice. The FSB also hosts a range of events and networking opportunities.
Memberships are for one year and are available for sole traders and small businesses. You must not currently be a member and must not have been a member for the last two years to be eligible to join the scheme. You must also be based in Three Rivers District.

Wenta
If you are looking to start a business, the Wenta Three Rivers Business Advice and Support Programme provides free access to a wide range of pre-start and early-stage business support services. It also offers skills training webinars and workshops on topics including social media and marketing, cashflow and writing a business plan IT, HR and legal issues.
You can also participate in virtual networking opportunities with other businesses across Hertfordshire.
