Make-up and beauty products belong in your REFUSE bin.

Examples: Foundation bottles, mascara, eyeshadow palets, eye liner pencils, lipsticks and glosses. 

Please Remember: Most of these products still contain makeup, are made of rigid plastic, and have a number of materials, therefor are not suitable for home recycling. However, TerraCycle do have collection points for makeup products, so please check out there website, and see where you can recycle yours locally (all brands are accepted). Alternativly, have a look for plastic free and zero waste makeup!!

Hints and Tips: Some animal sanctuarys take mascara wands - used to brush very small animals. If you have any full, unused makeup/beauty products, some charities will accept them.
