31st October 2022

The winners of the Three Rivers district pumpkin carving competition have been selected – and their creations are bound to bring a smile to even the most ghoulish face this Halloween.

The winning entry in the under eight-year-olds category is Eva from Croxley Green. Eva, 7, is in Year 3 at The Royal Masonic School for Girls, Rickmansworth, and she is looking forward to trick or treating today (Monday).

And the winner of the category for those aged between eight and sixteen is Miley, 9, from South Oxhey who is in Year Five at Greenfields Primary School, Watford.

The winners and three guests have been invited to the VIP night at Watersmeet on Friday 16 December to see a performance of the pantomime Aladdin and meet the cast.

The competition was judged by Cllr Debbie Morris, Chair of Three Rivers District Council, and Cllr Sarah Nelmes, the council Leader.
