Top tips on health and wellbeing at virtual event

A virtual event will take place next Thursday (10 February) offering residents top tips from guest speakers on how to improve their health and wellbeing.

A virtual event will take place next Thursday (10 February) offering residents top tips from guest speakers on how to improve their health and wellbeing.

The free event which takes place between 12 noon and 2pm will offer advice on how people can improve their health through simple and fun activities such as physical activity, healthy eating and healthy habits.

There will also be the chance to find out about the positive benefits of volunteering, as well as a virtual yoga session, guided by a professional yoga instructor, who will take participants through some relaxing, deep breathing exercises and light yoga stretches.

Local GP, Dr Kevin Barrett, will also be on hand to offer tips on how people can best manage their health, as well as offering advice on Covid-19 vaccinations.

The event is organised in partnership with: Healthy hubs, Ascend, Still Mind, Watford and Three Rivers Trust, Herts Mind Network and New Road Surgery.
