Three Rivers District Council inspectors were out in the South Oxhey area carrying out joint work with the Hertfordshire Police on Friday 26 November.

A total of 19 vehicles were stopped. Vehicle checks were carried out on 13 cars, of those two were required to produce transfer notes for waste under section 34 EPA (Environmental Protection Act) 1990 and two required to produce waste carrier details under section 5 of the COP (Control of pollution) Act 1989.

Herts Police issued one Fixed Penalty Notice for not wearing a seat belt. Two uninsured vehicles were also taken away.
