Young people from the South Oxhey area aged 14-19 years are being given an exciting opportunity to take part in a new Film Making project, run by industry professionals Elstree Film Design and organised by Three Rivers District Council’s Leisure Team.

SO Film is a continuation from successful project ‘Furze Films’ which took place in January 2014 and saw young residents from Aldwyck’s Furze Field House take part in a film taster course, where they got to experience photography and basic film making.

Supported by Youth Connexions, this new project running for 28 sessions will ensure that participants have a fully immersive film experience, learning how to produce storyboards, create scripts, use filming equipment, direct and edit film, leading up to a shared viewing at the end of the course.

The sessions starts on Tuesday 28th October and will run from 6-9pm at The Centre and will be free of charge. For more information please contact the Leisure Team on 01923 776611 / leisure@threerivers.gov.uk
