Three Rivers District Council’s Skate Parks remain closed as per the Government’s advice due to the coronavirus pandemic and this includes the popular Croxley Skate Park.

Notices have been put up to make communities aware of the facilities remaining closed, along with reminders of social distancing.

Cllr Chris Lloyd, Lead Member for Leisure, said: “We still need to stay alert to the risk of the coronavirus virus on public health and this includes the use of local skate parks. Despite warnings around physical distancing and the closed notices displayed at these facilities, there are still large groups of young people using the skate parks.

“We are working closely with the local police to ensure that those who are still trying to use the facility are dispersed. Exercise is important, but please do it safely in areas that are permitted and make sure that you keep more than 2 metres apart”

We continue working for the well-being of families, friends, and everyone in our community.
