Ricky Gervais in Ricky for live show at Watersmeet

Award-winning comedian Ricky Gervais will be bringing his unique brand of stand-up to Watersmeet in Rickmansworth next week (Thursday 28 July).

The creator and star of such shows as The Office, Extras, Derek and the critically acclaimed After Life will be performing new material in preparation for his next ‘Armageddon’ special for Netflix, due to be released in 2024.

The Office is the most successful British comedy of all time and has been broadcast in more than 80 countries. After Life has been watched by an audience of more than 110 million around the world.

Considered to be one of the most influential British comedians of his generation, Gervais returned to stand-up with ‘SuperNature’ in 2021 following the global success of his Netflix stand-up special ‘Humanity’, which was his first in 7 years.

Tickets for Ricky Gervais & Friends: New Material Night at Watersmeet went on sale at 10am on 22 July 2022 and sold out in seconds as local residents and fans snapped up tickets for the show.
