Three Rivers District Council is asking all residents to make full use of their kerbside recycling facilities.  Stickers are being placed on refuse bins during the week commencing 29 February to remind residents to use their food pods, recycling bins and garden waste bins, rather than placing these types of waste in their refuse bins.

Councillor Phil Brading, Lead Member for Public Services, said ''By recycling everything we possibly can the amount of waste sent to landfill can be dramatically reduced. This is not only better for the environment but it also saves council taxpayers’ money by reducing the amount paid in landfill tax and fees.  Please look at our website at www.threerivers.gov.uk  for more information about what you can and cannot recycle.”
