Nominate inspirational people and organisations for the Pride of Three Rivers awards
The search is on for inspirational local people and organisations as a brand-new awards scheme is launched celebrating the best of Three Rivers.
The first ever Pride of Three Rivers Awards will honour and recognise individuals, organisations, groups and businesses that have made an exceptional contribution to their local community.
The awards are being organised by Three Rivers District Council, which is searching for nominations from across the district, with the finalists invited to an awards ceremony on 23 March.
Cllr Keith Martin, the Chair of Three Rivers District Council, said: “These awards are all about celebrating the very best of our wonderful district. I am excited to see who will be nominated, and to hear more stories of incredible community spirit.
“It could be a friend, a neighbour, a colleague, or an organisation you know – if you know anyone who contributes and has contributed to their local community and made a big and positive difference, then please nominate them today.”
The Pride of Three Rivers Awards will feature six categories: Outstanding Individual, Outstanding Environmental Contribution, Outstanding Group, Outstanding Business, Outstanding Young Person(s) and Lifetime Achievement.
Finalists and winners will be selected by an independent panel of judges.
Nominations close on 30 November. For more information visit: www.threerivers.gov.uk/pride-awards
