Playscheme summer holiday bookings now open

A summer of excitement and fun awaits children in Three Rivers as Playscheme bookings open ahead of the summer holidays.
Three Rivers District Council’s Playscheme is returning this summer, providing an affordable opportunity for children to develop their social skills, make friends, play games and learn new skills.
The Ofsted registered scheme is held at Yorke Mead School in Croxley Green – it is running from 27 July – 21 August 2026 and offers spaces for children in reception to year six.
At Three Rivers Playscheme there are always new and exciting play opportunities, and the children’s ideas and suggestions are encouraged too. This summer there will be some exciting visitors, including Ranger Stu who will be bringing exotic animals in to meet the children.
Cllr Chris Lloyd, the council’s Lead Member for Leisure, said: “The Playscheme is a great opportunity for children to make the most of the summer holidays – with a range of activities, games and visitors, no two days are the same.
“As well as the great play experiences, children also have the chance to make new friends and develop new skills in an inclusive and supportive environment.
“If you are interested, don’t delay, book a place today!”
Playscheme runs on weekdays from 8.30am-5pm and costs £30 per child, per day for Three Rivers residents or £35 per child, per day for non-residents. Playscheme accepts tax-free childcare, childcare vouchers, and ACE codes.
