Play Ranger holiday sessions return this summer

Children in Three Rivers have the opportunity to play freely in local woodlands and open spaces with the return of the popular holiday Play Ranger sessions.
Run by Three Rivers District Council, the summer holiday sessions take place between 27 July – 28 August at numerous locations throughout the district. With opportunities to climb trees, create woodland crafts, play games and enjoy lots more outdoor fun, the Play Ranger sessions are a perfect way for children to enjoy the fresh air this summer.
Cllr Chris Lloyd, Lead Member for Leisure, said: “I am delighted Play Rangers are back for the holidays, providing children of Three Rivers with a summer of exciting adventures.
"The sessions offer a safe and fun environment for children to explore the outdoors, get active all whilst creating memories and making friends.”
One parent whose children have attended Play Rangers said:
“A wonderful service provided by Three Rivers District Council that is much appreciated! Children are experiencing risky play and being outdoors in the fresh air in their local open space. We LOVE Play Rangers!”
And another said: “Don't know what we would do without the adventures the Play Rangers bring to the holidays.”
Taking place Monday – Friday at various locations across the district, the sessions are accessible to children throughout Three Rivers.
Play Ranger sessions are suitable for children in Year 1 – Year 7. An annual membership is required, costing £7 per child – once this has been purchased you can book onto any of the Play Ranger sessions using the quick and simple booking form.
