Hertfordshire audiences will be giving a massive Swashbuckle salute this Christmas as none other than Swashbuckle’s Cook actor Joseph Elliott, will be starring as the evil Abanazaar in this year’s dazzling panto Aladdin from 9 December until New Year’s Day at Watersmeet Theatre.

The CBeebies star heads a sensational line-up that also includes Love Island legend Amy Day as the Genie of the Ring, along with Steven Pinder (Brookside) as the eccentric Emperor with the hilarious Nick Barclay as Widow Twankey, and Christian James as her Hapless son Wishee Washee and Seren Sandham-Davies as our eponymous hero Aladdin.
Aladdin tells the classic fairy-tale story in true panto style and promises to end 2022 with fun, magic and laughter. Prepare to be whisked away on a magic carpet ride like no other. A baddie wanting boos, goodies with some gags, a hero in hot water… Can the Genie keep up with all these wishes?
