A local golf course in Rickmansworth is expanding its offering by investing in a new £15,000 golf simulator.

Rickmansworth Golf Course, managed by Everyone Active in partnership with Three Rivers District Council, installed the new piece of equipment earlier this month. The simulator has a built in driving range which shows details of each shot including the swing path, swing speed, distance, spin and where the ball strikes. Players will also have access to thousands of courses around the world.

The new addition to the club is perfect for golf professionals to utilise for lessons and is also ideal for groups looking to get competitive. Members at Rickmansworth Golf Course will be able to use the simulator at a discounted rate and all users can book via the Everyone Active app or in centre.

John Sewell, Contract Manager at Everyone Active, said: “Our new golf simulator is the perfect addition to the golf course. There isn’t another one like this in the area, so we are confident that are members and visitors will benefit significantly from this investment.

“Whether you’re an avid golfer, a beginner looking to practice, or just want to come and have some fun with friends, this high tech piece of equipment is ideal for any ability.

“We’ve no doubt that the simulator will be highly popular, so we’d encourage anyone looking to try it out to book through the Everyone Active app or come and speak to our friendly team who will secure your slot.”

Councillor Chris Lloyd, Lead Member for Leisure, added: “We know the past few months have been tough on the local community, so it’s great to be able to get people together and have some fun at the golf course.

“This investment will bring a fantastic new feature to the course and we hope to see many members giving it a try over the coming weeks and months.”
