Lead members appointed following Full Council

A reshuffle of Three Rivers District Council’s top team was approved at Tuesday’s Full Council meeting.

Cllr Stephen Giles-Medhurst will continue as Council Leader and be responsible for the Local Plan as well as leading on Local Government Reorganisation. Cllr Sarah Nelmes will remain as the Deputy Leader and Lead Member for General Public Services, which covers parking and refuse.

Lead Members are held accountable for their respective portfolios, as well as holding council officers to account and shape work around their individual service or policy area.

  • Cllr Louise Price - Lead Member for  Resources, Infrastructure and Economic Development

The appointment of Lead Members was approved on Tuesday, 20 May.

Cllr Giles-Medhurst said: “I am immensely proud to continue to serve as Leader of Three Rivers District Council for a further year.  I'm excited to continue to deliver the excellent work of our council staff with the leadership team. As I have done over the last year, I will continue to engage and listen to the views of other parties, and, where they want to engage, hopefully take on any good ideas for the benefit of all our residents. We will continue to ensure the council serves the community effectively while balancing budgets during challenging times.”
