Start the new year with healthy choices as council campaign returns
A new year, a new you: Three Rivers District Council continues to support residents in making healthier lifestyle choices as the new year begins.
The Healthy New You campaign, now in its second year, aims to raise awareness of the wide range of free health and wellbeing services available through Healthy Hubs Three Rivers, helping residents access the right support at the right time.
The council’s Healthy Hub acts as a one-stop hub for health and wellbeing, offering a variety of services to support physical and mental health, including:
Free NHS Health Checks
Regular assessments designed to identify potential health risks early and encourage preventative care.
Sexual Health Information and Advice
Confidential guidance and support relating to sexual health and relationships.
Stop Smoking Services
Personalised support to help individuals quit smoking and move towards a smoke-free lifestyle.
Mental Health Support
Delivered in partnership with Herts Mind Network and Turning Point Complex Needs Service, the Healthy Hub provides information, resources, and signposting to promote emotional wellbeing.
Small Acts of Kindness – Warm in Winter Gift Bags
Collect a Warm in Winter gift bags for those aged over 55 to help to heat the person who maybe struggling to heat their home.
