We’re set to celebrate the natural and handmade at Artistsmeet this September, with an exhibition of hand felted textiles.

Hand Felt by Connie Flynn is an exhibition of work exploring the technique of handmade felt. The process of using animal fibres to form a fabric has endless possibilities, which Connie explores by combining other chosen materials not necessarily associated with textiles, such as metal, bark, nut shells and human hair.

Her practice has evolved through experimenting and combining traditional techniques with modern practices, using both hand and machine skills.
