The end of the year may be fast approaching, but there is still lots of creativity to be enjoyed in Three Rivers, in 2019 and beyond.

When you are in Watersmeet, arrive early to take a look around the photography exhibition in Artistsmeet, located within the foyer.

Capturing Colour

A year through the lens in Three Rivers from 8 November 2019 – 6 January 2020 at Artistsmeet (at Watersmeet). Open 10am – 4pm (check Box Office for extended seasonal opening hours).

This exhibition celebrates a year of natural beauty in our district, seeing how the landscape and scenery change through the seasons. It’s also showcases the skills of local people, who come along to our Picture This..! Photography Walks and send us their favourite snaps. Book onto a Photography Walk in 2020, as part of the Hertfordshire Year of Culture.

Our Handmade Christmas workshops also return for the second year, to get you in the mood for the festive season. Learn new skills, make handmade gifts or enjoy creating something to decorate your favourite space. Spaces are still available on the ‘Calligraphy Card Creations’ workshop at the Leavesden HIVE.

And if you’re already looking ahead to new creative ventures…

Join a Be Creative art group, NEW for the Hertfordshire Year of Culture 2020.

The fun, friendly art groups for adults will offer opportunities to learn new skills, develop existing ones and meet new people. Run by professional artists/tutors, the 10-week terms start in mid-January and include Mixed Media Art at William Penn Leisure Centre and Textiles at Croxley Green Baptist Church.
