It may be cold outside, but don’t let that stop you from getting your coat, walking shoes and camera ready to take part in a photography walk.

It may be cold outside, but don’t let that stop you from getting your coat, walking shoes and camera ready to take part in a photography walk.

There are plenty of outdoor spaces to explore with beautiful winter scenery to capture in Three Rivers and nearby districts. Join us during February half term to find out more - we even have a NEW location!

Thursday 21 February – Cassiobury Park from 10:30am – 1pm

Saturday 23 February – Rickmansworth Aquadrome from 10:30am – 1pm

Cllr Chris Lloyd, Lead Member of Leisure said: “The relaxed and friendly walks are suitable for everyone. You don’t need any specialist equipment, bring a digital camera, Smartphone or tablet. Use your imagination and snap away and meet new people.”

Taking guidance from professional photographer Pete Stevens, you can enjoy the surroundings while picking up handy tips on composition, resolution and how to use natural lighting.

See your photos featured in an online gallery afterwards and be in with the chance of winning the 'best snap' competition.

Previous participants have said:

“We really enjoyed the photography walk, Pete and the Park Ranger showed us loads of interesting places around the park, and we got some great technical tips!”

“The photographer had a wealth of knowledge which he shared and my girls came away inspired!”

The cost is £5 per person; spaces must be booked in advance via the Leisure Team’s website www.threeriversleisure.co.uk
