Car parks temporarily closed to allow filming in Rickmansworth

A number of parking spaces in Rickmansworth will be temporally out of use and a road closed next week to allow for filming for a British television series.
Filming will take place on Monday 1 September in Talbot Road High Street Car Park (opposite the Coach & Horses public house) between 8am – 1pm.
All spaces in both sides of the car park will be used for the filming and there will be no spaces available for public use during this time. Advanced signage will be erected indicating the car park is out of use.
Filming and technical vehicles will park on 20 suspended bays along the High Street (Park Road end) to Church Street.
Bury Lane will also be closed between 1pm-6pm. Hertfordshire County Council has granted the production permission to close the stretch of Bury Lane that runs from Church Street up to the corner of Ebury Road.
Access to The Bury Car Park will be possible up until 1pm and after that time, cars already parked there will be given assistance to exit.
Cllr Stephen Giles-Medhurst OBE, the leader of Three Rivers District Council, said: “This filming is for a UK television series, and while it may be a slight inconvenience to motorists at the time of filming, it is great to be able to support such projects in our district which will inevitably bring new people into the area and support the local economy.”
