Listen to the Rickmansworth Aquadrome’s natural singers early in the morning at a guided walk this month.

If you can tell the difference between a robin’s call from a chiff chaff or simply love songs of birds, then join Toby from the British Trust of Ornithology – a national charity that studies birds - at the nature reserve on Tuesday 30 June on a dawn chorus walk.

The free event will see participants taken on the paved walkways around the two lakes. Children under the age of 16 should be supervised by an adult.

Cllr Aidan Bentley, Lead Member for Climate Change & Sustainability, said: “Whether you’re a keen bird watcher or simply love hearing the birds chirping in the morning with a hot cup of tea, the dawn chorus walk is for everyone!

“The Rickmansworth Aquadrome is home to many unique wildlife, so hopefully participants will be able to hear as many bird species as possible, such as robins, treecreepers and chiff chaffs. Thank you to the National Lottery players for making this possible.”
