Test your general knowledge at this year’s Chair’s Big Quiz Night which will raise money to support prostate and ovarian cancer charities.
Charities supporting those affected by prostate cancer and ovarian cancer are being supported by a quiz hosted by the newly appointed Chair of Three Rivers District Council, Cllr Raj Khiroya.
The annual Quiz Night will be held on 9 March 2024 at the Moor Park Golf Club, with proceeds raised going to prostate cancer support charity Friends of Prostate Sufferers in Chorleywood and ovarian cancer charity Ovacome.
This year’s event promises to be an evening of fun, knowledge-testing, and community spirit.
The quiz night, a much-anticipated event in the district's calendar, is a tradition now upheld by the Chair of Three Rivers District Council. This year, the focus is on raising funds and awareness of prostate and ovarian cancer, two conditions that affect tens of thousands of individuals and their families each year.
Cllr Khiroya said: "We are thrilled to host the Chair’s Charity Quiz Night at the beautiful Moor Park Golf Club. It's an opportunity for our community to come together for a night of fun, while also making a meaningful contribution to charities that provide essential support to those affected by prostate and ovarian cancer."
The event will feature a variety of quiz rounds with a mix of general knowledge and fun trivia. Participants can expect a lively atmosphere, with opportunities to win prizes and engage in friendly competition.
Tickets for the quiz night will be available for purchase soon, with all proceeds directly benefiting Friends of Prostate Cancer Sufferers and Ovacome. These organisations play a crucial role in providing support, research, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by these cancers.
