Get set to test your general knowledge at the Chair’s annual quiz
Test your general knowledge the Chair’s Quiz Night and help raise money for two causes.
The Chair of Three Rivers District Council, Cllr Stephen King, is inviting people to take part in the quiz in April and raise funds for the Ehlers-Danlos Society and Oxhey Jets Football Club.
The Ehlers-Danlos Society is a global organisation which supports research and education in Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorders. EDSs are a group of 13 heritable connective tissue disorders caused by genetic changes that affect connective tissue.
The Chair is also supporting the Oxhey Jets, a semi-professional football club based in South Oxhey.
He said: “I am delighted to be hosting my first quiz as council chair. It will be a fun evening and a chance to raise money for two causes very close to my heart. So, book now and come along – I’d love to see you there.”
The annual Quiz Night will be held on Friday 17 April at Three Rivers House in Rickmansworth. This year’s event promises to be an evening of fun, knowledge-testing, and community spirit.
Tickets cost £25 per person, including light snacks, tea and coffee. A licensed bar will also be open.
