The Causeway House Car Park in Abbots Langley is set to have improvement works from next week.

New signage, refreshed lines in the access road and car park, and footpath repairs are scheduled to take place over two days from Tuesday 11 November to Wednesday 12 November (weather permitting), which would require cordoning off half the car park at the time.

On Thursday 20 November and Friday 21 November (again, weather permitting), Three Rivers District Council’s contractors require the parking bays fronting the shops on the High Street by the car park to be fenced off.

This is to enable the resurfacing works to the Causeway House Car Park entrance and the main car park area as well as relining the disabled and parking bays.

Diversion signs will be in place. Motorists wanting to park in Causeway House Car Park will be diverted past the shops into Abbots Road and use the service road to the rear of the shops. The exit from car park will remain as is. ‘Businesses Open as Usual’ signage to be placed out on the main road. The shops will remain open during this time.
