Businesses in Three Rivers invited to apply for Restart Grant

Eligible retail, hospitality and leisure businesses in Three Rivers can now apply for the new one-off Restart Grant.

The Chancellor announced the Restart Grant in the budget last month for businesses forced to close during lockdown.

The Restart Grant replaces the Local Restrictions Support Grant (LRSG) and is a one-off payment to help businesses with re-opening and getting back on their feet as lockdown restrictions start to relax from today (Monday, 12 April).

Eligible businesses in the non-essential retail sector may be entitled to a one-off cash grant of up to £6,000.

Eligible businesses in the hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym sectors may be entitled to a one-off cash grant of up to £18,000.

The amount paid depends on the rateable value of the qualifying premises.
