Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Learn how to spot the signs and symptoms of Breast Cancer
A programme to help people spot the signs and symptoms of breast cancer is taking place across Three Rivers throughout October.
A dedicated health team from the council will be at events offering residents essential information about early signs and symptoms, guiding on self-examination techniques, and providing details on available medical consultation avenues.
The awareness programme has been organised by Three Rivers District Council, in partnership with breast cancer charity CoppaFeel, with the aim of highlighting the importance of early detection, which plays a pivotal role in prognosis and treatment success.
Cllr Andrew Scarth, Lead Member for Public Health, and Wellbeing, said: "With this campaign, we aim to equip our residents with essential knowledge about breast cancer, promoting vigilance and early detection."
Breast Cancer Awareness Month runs throughout October.
