Jane Cousins’ new collection of work based around maps of the local area will certainly invite you to look at Rickmansworth from a new perspective! Using satellite imagery and recycled maps, tactile artworks are created in machine stitch and fabric.

Elaine Johnson, Community Arts Development Officer said “exhibitions with a ‘local’ focus always attract lots of visitors, so I am very pleased to have Jane exhibiting with us. She has formed a new collection of work especially for the show and she can tell people all about it in her creative workshops!”

Jane will be running a series of workshops for people of all ages, where you can learn how to build your own boat and other items using papier mâché or origami. The activities are suitable for all ability levels and materials will be provided!
