Our young masters from Rickmansworth School are welcomed back to the Artistsmeet gallery space for a second year, to feature a wonderful collection of artwork produced by their talented GCSE and A Level students. The exhibition will mark the celebration of a year of study and will include stunning paintings and drawings.

Wendy Parks, Head of Art & Design Faculty at Rickmansworth School said,

‘This is a great opportunity for the second year running for the School and Art Department to showcase the amazing talents of our students and to share and celebrate their achievements with the local community and wider audience. We are really pleased to have formed this partnership with Three Rivers and Watersmeet and hope that the exhibition can become a regular annual event.’

The ‘Young Masters’ exhibition was created in 2015 to give the community a snapshot into what artwork is being created by young people in local secondary schools. The opportunity acts as a platform for young people to showcase their skills and to have their work featured in a contemporary gallery space.

Further to this, an additional opportunity has been created especially for children in our local primary schools – ‘Young Masters in the Making’, with the inaugural exhibition set to take place in April and May 2016.
