PRESENTATION BY GRAHAM CLARK, FROM THE FRIENDS OF CROXLEY COMMON MOOR – PART ONE |
‘Birds of Croxley Common Moor’ |
The first part of a talk by local ornithologist, Graham Clark, about the birds on this special, local site deriving from his spring survey work there in 2016 and 2017.
Croxley Common Moor has been traditionally grazed for centuries, which gives it its unique character. And plenty of anthills! Although the site is principally important for its botanical interest there are plenty of interesting birds too. Some of the birds you may be familiar with, but some maybe not so much and it might surprise you to learn how rich the ornithological interest is as well.
