Express Yourself

Finding the joy in words and sharing!

More and more, we’re being encouraged to share our thoughts.

Whether it’s jotting down a few words on a post-it, reflecting in a journal, or sharing these verbally, communicating with words can help to clear our minds, relieve stress and boost our mood.

In this new 4-week course, you will explore this further- writing for self-expression and discovering all its exciting potential!

There’ll be plenty of opportunities to listen to and read poetry- learning more about how writing can capture a mood, feeling or memory.

You will also have the freedom to chat about the poems, share your thoughts and perhaps write your own responses through simple exercises.

Professional writer Anna Reynolds will be running the friendly and welcoming sessions. She will be sharing her skills and helping you to find your unique and creative voice.

Everyone will be guided and supported at their own pace, and given time to reflect about how expressive writing can give them insight into their own lives.

No experience is needed, just a willingness to try something new and importantly have fun!
