Service Delivery Standards

The following are our target response times to requests for service:

  • Respond to a telephone call within 24 hours
  • Written response to a letter/fax/email within 5 working days
  • Collection of a found/stray dog the same day if reported within office hours
  • Process licence applications within 2 working days

Three Rivers District Council has signed up to the Concordat on Good Enforcement, which can be found below. This means that in all our enforcement activities we strive to be open and discuss problems and resolutions with all parties concerned seeking, where possible, a conclusion without the need for formal action. In the case of formal action all parties will be made aware of what action is being taken and why.
