Explore, discover, learn, there is something for everyone in Three Rivers. Within Three Rivers there are large areas of public open space including parks, woodlands, country parks, local nature reserves, play areas, skate parks, outside gyms, outdoor sports, commons and heathland. The Council also organise various outdoor activities at parks and open spaces across Three Rivers.

Three Rivers District Council is not only responsible for the management of our parks and open spaces, we see ourselves as guardians who promote, conserve and enhance our natural heritage, for future generations. As part of our management role, we want to make sure that we are meeting the needs of our residents. The Countryside Management Service also works with communities in Hertfordshire to help them care for and enjoy the environment, providing land management advice, environmental conservation & walking opportunities in Hertfordshire.
