The Hertfordshire Health Walks programme is coordinated by The Countryside Management Service (CMS) and is a countywide programme of free, led walks.
It aims to help promote walking and encourage more people (all ages, backgrounds and abilities) to get outdoors, get active and reap the health benefits.
Watford and Three Rivers Health Walks
A variety of walks take place across the district. This programme incorporates walks from award-winning Cassiobury Park in Watford to the beautiful countryside around Croxley Green, Abbots Langley, Chorleywood and Rickmansworth.
Whilst most walks are grade 3, of an hour or more, there are some shorter and slower-paced walks available, as well as regular weekend walks. The newest edition to the programme is a walk from the centre of South Oxhey out to explore Oxhey Woods and the new sculpture trail.
