Householder Duty Planner Service

A Planning Officer will be available to answer queries on current planning applications, offer informal guidance on potential householder planning applications, and other planning-related queries.  Please note that the Duty Planner can only offer informal advice on small scale/householder developments such as extensions and no site visits or written responses will be available from this service.  The Duty Service is not available to offer pre-application advice on larger scale developments – please see Pre-Application section.


From 30 January 2017, the Duty Planner will be available between 10am and 1pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday only. The Duty Planner will not be available outside of these times.

- Plans of proposed development
- Maps of street/location
- Photographs

What else?

Check-in at the Reception Desk. There is free car parking (up to two hours).
It is a drop-in service, no appointment is required but enquiries are limited to a maximum of 15 minutes.
