What is Artistsmeet?
art-1.jpgArtistsmeet is the contemporary art exhibition space created in the foyer of Watersmeet and is open during Watersmeet Box Office hours which are currently Monday to Friday, 10am – 4pm. Entry is free of charge. 
The gallery works with artists, local schools and community groups to host a variety of exhibitions including painting, photography, textiles and mixed media. As part of the ongoing exhibition programme, the gallery also hosts artist talks and demonstrations, taster sessions and community engagement events.
The space provides white walls, a wooden floor, spot lighting and display cabinets/plinths. If you are interested in exhibiting, then please contact Elaine Johnson, Arts Development Officer

Jane Cousins - Rickmansworth from all Sides

janecousins02rs.jpgJane's new collection of work based around maps of the local area will invite you to look at Rickmansworth from a new perspective!

Inspired by the geometry of rooftops and the shadows of buildings as they appear on the ground, Jane uses satellite imagery which is rendered in machine stitch over layers of fabric or recycled maps, to create stunning pieces of artwork.



Build a boat!


Papier mache - suitable for all ages and families
Saturday 15 July, 10am - 12noon

Origami - suitable for adults and those aged 16+
Tuesday 18 July, 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Join us from 7:30pm - 8:30pm to meet the artist at her opening reception

Activities take place at Artistsmeet, Watersmeet and cost £3 per person.
