RMS Works on Paper

Royal Masonic School for Girls

7 November - 31 December 2017

royal-masonic-school-art.jpgNow in its second year, ‘RMS Works on Paper’ is an exhibition from the pupils at The Royal Masonic School for Girls that features work from girls currently working towards a GCSE or A Level in Fine Art, Textile Design or Photography.

The exhibition aims to showcase the outstanding preparatory drawings, prints, embroidery, models and photographs that often hide within the pages of lovingly crafted sketchbooks and folders. The focus is normally on the outcome but as all creative people know the ideas are discovered and recorded in a variety of methods on paper before they are brought more fully to life on canvas, garments, print, wall hangings or in 3D form.
