Equipment

There is a variety of equipment to use at our outdoor gyms. This equipment includes:

Hand bike - the arm bike is a great way to exercise your arms. It works your chest, shoulders, back, arms and core muscles without the use of free weights or weight machines

Chest press - the seated chest press machine is comfortable for your body while allowing you to lift heavier weight with more control

Ski machine - the rhythmic, large muscle movements that characterize a cross-country ski machine workout provide efficient and effective aerobic exercise

Leg press - the leg press is a weight training exercise in which the individual pushes a weight or resistance away from them using their legs

Lat pull down - the pulldown, or 'lat' pulldown is an exercise mainly for the back although the shoulders and arms get some workout as well

Cycle machine - a cycling machine also helps you burn calories through your workouts, a major key in losing weight. Your legs also will see benefits, as the resistance from cycling machines can be used as weight training

Sit up equipment - sits up require you to lift your entire torso up into a semi-seated position, whereas a crunch simply means lifting just your shoulders and upper back off the ground
