The Green is a large open space, perfect for walking.

An oak tree was planted on The Green to mark the Coronation of King Charles III. The young oak was planted on in a tradition dating back to 1897, when a tree was planted to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. In 2022, an oak was planted to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
