Home Care Company is Singing for Dementia

17th May 2018

The home care team based in Welwyn Garden City are all singing from the same song sheet as they launch their latest campaign as part of Dementia Action Week.

Home Instead Senior Care has created a ‘SongsToRemember’ of favourite songs that caregivers and their clients love to sing together - and plans to get a 1,000 people to join in.

Staff at the Welwyn office are holding a community singalong event to get as many people as possible using their voices to support the campaign.

This event will take place at the Dementia Friendly Community Café on Thursday 17 May,  and all are invited to come along and help raise awareness of the power of music.

The International Longevity Centre – UK (ILC-UK), with support from The Utley Foundation, has created a Commission on Dementia and Music.

They are actively encouraging more to be done to promote the power of music to improve the lives of people with dementia and are supporting the Home Instead #SongsToRemember campaign.
