Dr Stuart Mitchell - The East African Campaign

A rising star in military history, Stuart is senior lecturer of war studies at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and the University of Wolverhampton.

He has established a reputation as one of the country’s top historians, particularly in the subject of the Great War. A lifelong Aston Villa fan, military history enthusiast and highly regarded speaker, Stuart will be joining to discuss the little-known campaign in German East Africa, fought in polar-opposite conditions to the Western Front, a campaign that is little known today. 

Stuart will be speaking at the Weston Auditorium, University of Hertfordshire, De Havilland Campus, Herts, AL10 9EU.

The talk will start at 7.30pm with doors open from 7pm.
