Chairman Eric Bishop’s line dance fundraiser

Nearly 100 people attended Chairman Eric Bishop’s charity day; which was held on the 19 July 2015 at Sun Sports & Social Club Watford. The line dancing event helped raise money for the Chairman’s chosen charities.

viv-eric-charity-night-1.jpgThe event included a line dance workshop in the afternoon followed by a dance in the evening accompanied by the award winning country and line dance artist, Glenn Rogers. People who attended enjoyed dancing to different types of music including a special cockney themed song for the Chairman and enjoyed the culinary delights during the event.

The Chairman was fundraising for his three chosen charities, including Homestart, a family service providing friendly parent-to-parent support to helping families through difficult times. The Box Cleva group in South Oxhey, which operate sporting and educational youth initiatives, centring on amateur boxing training to provide discipline and help for young people. The final charity, the Chairman will be raising money for is Parkinson’s UK West Herts branch, the support charity, working to improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.

Any donations to these organisations are deeply appreciated and I know they will benefit greatly from any financial support.
