This report seeks the Council’s approval to its Council Tax Reduction Scheme for 2013/14.

 This report details the Authority’s Council Tax Base for 2013/14 which must be approved between 1 December 2012 and 31 January 2013.

5.     SUBMISSION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION FOR ENGLAND

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England, following its decision to reduce the number of Councillors for this Council from 48 to 39 in 2014, has asked for proposals by 14 January 2013. The Council will be requested to agree the principles on which such a submission will be based.
