You are hereby summoned to attend an extraordinary meeting of the Council to be held in the Penn Chamber, Three Rivers House, Rickmansworth, on Monday, 17 October 2011 at 6.30pm for the purpose of transacting the under-mentioned business:-

3.     THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK: ADOPTION OF CORE STRATEGY
           

The Three Rivers Core Strategy is the Council’s main planning policy document of the Local Development Framework and sets out the Council’s vision of what the District should look like in 2026.

The Core Strategy was approved by Council for formal submission to the Government in February 2011.  In June 2011 an independent Inspector appointed by the Planning Inspectorate held an examination in public.  On the 16 September 2011 the Inspector submitted a report to the Council with her findings and recommendations.

The Inspector concludes in her Report that, subject to a limited number of changes, the Three Rivers Core Strategy is sound and should be adopted.
