This report advises members on the recycling of Yellow Pages, via the Yellow Woods Challenge that was offered to schools for the first time this year and seeks permission to continue this scheme in future years. |

ENVIRONMENT ACT 1995 - CONSULTATION UPON DRAFT AIR QUALITY ACTION PLAN |
|
This report introduces the first draft of an Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP) for the district. The purpose of the plan is to set out how the District Council will take action within its area to reduce air pollution locally, so that pollution within the hotspots near the M25 is reduced to within statutory objectives. |

To agree the Council’s response to the East of England Regional Assembly’s (EERA) consultation ‘Planning for Gypsy and Traveller accommodation in the East of England: Issues and Options’ (May 2007). |

EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC |

If the Committee wishes to consider the remaining items in private, it will be appropriate for a resolution to be passed in the following terms:- “that under Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972 the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined under paragraphs 3,3,3,3 and 1 respectively of Part I of Schedule 12A to the Act. It has been decided by the Council that in all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information. (Note: If other confidential business is approved under item 3, it will also be necessary to specify the class of exempt or confidential information in the additional items). |

This report seeks agreement to carry out major adaptation works for a child with severe physical disabilities. The report sets out the reasons for the recommended works, alternative solutions that have been explored and seeks approval for the total funding which is in excess of the delegated authority (£25,000). |
