Skate Park Worker- Casual Contract

The Role:

We are looking for highly motivated and energetic individuals with interest (although not essential) in Skateboarding, Inline Skate or BMX.  You will have experience of working with young people with experience of working with children, young people and adults.

You will be responsible for supervision of the Skate park during the Councils Easter and Summer sessions. Ensuring the safety of park users through inspecting all equipment and surroundings making sure that they are clean and safe to use and managing park users behaviour does not affect the safety of others

You will receive full training and induction manuals detailing specific procedures. 

Successful candidates will be invited to interview.

Hours of work: 

Hours could vary between 9.00am – 8pm, Monday – Sunday during Easter and Summer holidays.

Training:

The post holder will be required to complete the following mandatory training before starting their role:

  • Staff induction
  • Safeguarding
  • First Aid

The candidate must ensure that they are available for the training (training dates below). 

This job is seasonal, therefore recruitment is ongoing and casual staff are always required. 

Induction: Friday 13th July

Training dates: from Monday 9th July – Friday 20th July.

Team meeting dates: Monday 16th – Friday 27th July 2018
