Appointment of Clerk to Batchworth Community Council

Salary Band: £26,822 - £30,153 pro-rata (within NJC sp 30-34)

 Part-time: 21 hours per week plus 4 hours to attend evening meetings


If you have a genuine interest in helping our forward thinking and energetic new Council develop and deliver timely, quality and innovative services to the local community then this post is ideal.

You will ensure that all legal, statutory, financial and other governing provisions relating to the Council are observed, all Council meetings are properly administered and decisions effectively implemented whilst developing healthy working partnerships with key local and national bodies.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and community focused individual who will bring sound administrative and good management skills. In return we offer flexibility in hours and excellent nationally based terms and conditions of employment. Training appropriate to the role will be provided.
