Casual Play Ranger & Party Support

£7.85 p/h


Across Three Rivers District


We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic person who would work well with our Play Ranger team in delivering Play Ranger sessions out in the community, within schools and delivering the best Play Ranger parties.

This position is a casual post, and work will be offered on an ad hoc basis. The position will also require the candidate to be available to work Play Ranger Parties on Saturday’s.

The candidate must ensure that the children, schools and the party attendees have a great time exploring their outdoor environment through natural type activities.

 You will be required to work across the following Play Rangers services:

  • Community sessions  out in open spaces & woodland areas in the Three Rivers District
  • Within Schools delivering curriculum and non-curriculum based Play Rangers activities
  • And Play Ranger parties on Saturday’s

You will be given full training and induction manuals detailing specific procedures.  The amount of projects you work on will vary dependant on your skills, availability and interests

Hours of work:

Hours could vary between 8.00am – 8pm, Monday – Friday and 10am – 5pm on Saturday’s, term-time and school holidays. This is dependent on the site / service you will be working on.

Regular / Occasional weekend work.


The post holder will be required to complete entry level and ongoing training which the council will provide.


Ability to drive – in order to travel around the district.
