Spring has sprung at Artistsmeet

19th April 2015

An exhibition of intricate paper cut outs and breathtaking 3D installations by artist Molly Hagan is set to take up residence in the gallery, which is located in the foyer of Watersmeet, Rickmansworth.

copy-of-copy-of-honeysuckle-silhouette-jpg.JPGInspired by patterns found in nature and human existence, Molly creates her pieces following a particular process, documenting the patterns through photography and drawing, then layering silhouetting and cutting them out by hand to produce the finished forms.

The installations are then presented in the space as suspended patterns, experimenting with light, shadow and perception of space.
