Julie Scott, Senior Land & Property Information Officer, was awarded the Local Land Charges Officer of the Year award.

The Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence, are now in their 10th year. The Awards celebrate the work and achievements of local authority local land charges departments, who carry out the land and property searches required for conveyancing transactions in England and Wales.

Sara Bedford, Leader, said: “I am truly delighted that Julie's professional achievements have been formally recognised with this prestigious award. Julie is one of the many talented and dedicated staff working hard at Three Rivers District Council for the good of our residents and our community. We are very proud to have Julie as our employee and I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate her on behalf of the Council for her excellent work. We also take pride in being an accredited ‘Investor in People’, and in developing all our staff to be the best they can be”.

Seven categories are covered by the Award: recognising customer satisfaction, best customer experience, most improved NLIS service, best NLIS local land charges department, the local land charges officer of the year and the unsung hero award.

The winners were chosen by a panel of judges from Land Data, the Local Land Charges Institute, NLIS, SearchFlow and Thames Water Property Searches.
