Chalfont Lane and Shire Lane will be, between its Junction with A412 Denham Way and Roberts Lane, from Monday 24 July for three weeks to allow trial bore holes, vegetation clearance and drainage surveys to be carried out. The closure will be in place between 9:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, each week.

Roberts Lane will have access to residents only.

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via West Hyde Lane, Denham Lane, Rickmansworth Lane, Shire Lane, Hornhill Road, Woodland Road and Denham Way.

In addition, traffic will be controlled be temporary traffic signals on Denham Way to allow drainage surveys to be carried out. These traffic signals will be in place between 9:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. It will be necessary to close Chalfont Lane to the east of Denham Lane for a couple of days during this period, and the signed diversion will be via Old Uxbridge Road.

The will be no road closures or restrictions during the weekends.
