Roll up, roll up for a creative adventure, as Artistsmeet brings you the sights, sounds and smells of the circus! Get Set Create artist Anji Archer and the Mind Joggers group from Shepherds Day Centre in Mill End bring you an exciting and colourful display of artwork, inspired by reminiscence and their childhood memories of the circus.

The space will be transformed into a 'Big Top' style exhibition complete with bunting, puppets, characters and more, that the group have been producing in sessions since October 2015.

Celebration exhibition launch
Friday 4th March, 2pm – 3:30pm

Join us and the Get Set Create participants, along with their families, friends and carers for a circus themed celebration afternoon at Artistsmeet. We will be enjoying the artwork on display and hearing a special reading of a story that the group have created, based on their reminiscence and enjoyment of the circus. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

In partnership with Herts Inclusive Theatre we are proud to present Get Set Perform’s murder mystery live radio play ‘All Aboard the SS Perform’.

The play is set in the 1920’s aboard a passenger ship crossing the Atlantic, starring characters that have been developed within the Get Set Perform sessions. The group members have been focusing on live radio play and experimenting with sound effects using household items, which will also form part of the performance.

With mystery and intrigue, the voyage will be all but plain sailing….
